Bolan Medical College Merit List 2017-2018 [District Wise]

This article contains the complete district-wise merit list of Bolan Medical College, Quetta for the academic session 2017-2018. These lists were obtained today morning (Monday, February 5, 2018) from the main entrance of the college. We have made available the merit lists of all 32 districts of Balochistan so that the students can easily access them anywhere. 🙂

The test was conducted by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan when the National Testing Service (NTS) couldn’t defend itself in a lawsuit filed by Dr. Muhammad Hafiz Sultan and the advocate, Ishaq Nasar where this private testing firm was alleged of corruption and irregularities in the testing pattern.

Eventually, the Balochistan High Court ordered HEC to conduct a “centralized” medical college admission test for the province. In addition, the court also ordered HEC to announce and duly display the results within 12 hours after the test.

This admission test is expected to be applicable to the following medical colleges/universities of Balochistan:

1. Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, Quetta.
2. Jhalawan Medical College, Khuzdar
3. Makran Medical College, Turbat
4. Loralai Medical College

(The admission policy is yet to be announced by the Government of Balochistan.)

Balochistan MCAT 2017-2018 was conducted today, February 4, 2018, by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan at the University of Balochistan, Quetta under the supervision of Department of Health, headed by the Additional Secretary Health, Mr. Abdul Rauf Baloch — who was also present during the test.

The test commenced at 12:45 PM and concluded at 02:45 PM PST.

Total number of candidates: 4774 (Male: 2772 and Female: 2002)

TOPPER IN ALL BALOCHISTAN: Syeda Ramlah Tul Sania daughter of Syed Abdul Faheem Shah from district Pishin with a total score (A+B+C) of 88.04.

Her HEC Test Score: 82.50
