In January 2015, the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) introduced the concept of Continuing Medical Education (CME) in an effort to encourage doctors to keep themselves fully updated with the latest advancements in the field of medicine. The decision was taken by the Management Committee of PM&DC after noticing the increased trend of CME and CDE internationally.
According to the guidelines regarding Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Dental Education (CDE), the healthcare professionals need to have accreditation of at least 5 credit hours per year for General Practitioners and 10 credit hours per year for specialists for re-certification of registration and provision of the license to practice by PM&DC.

We are organising 2nd regional meeting and workshop on urolithiasis and endourology in Islamabad Pakistan from 15-17 Dec 2017.
How we can upload this information on your website
It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you all to the 2nd Regional Meeting Workshop on Urolithiasis and Endo-urology jointly organized by the Pakistan Association of Urological Surgeons (PAUS) Rawalpindi/ Islamabad Chapter,European Association of Urology/Section of Urolithiasis (EULIS) and International Alliance of Urolithiasis (IAU) from 15 th to 17 th December 2017.
This conference will be held in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is devoted to urolithiasis which has a high prevalence rate in our country. It constitutes almost 60% of the urological work load with many patients presenting with neglected large/staghorncalculi and renal failure.
Thanks to the support of many urological and stone societies (IAU, EAU-EULIS, U-merge, Society of Surgeons of Pakistan, Pakistan Nephrology Society and many more) we have been able to put together an exciting program, which will address all aspects of stone diseases, from molecule to staghorn stone, from crystal to rock, from diet to surgery and from prevention to treatment.
There will be a multitude of keynote lectures, debates, hands on training, instructional courses by well renowned national and international faculty, and live commented uncut video demonstrations of the latest surgical techniques on URS, PCNL, RIRS and Endo-Urology.
The conference is being held in Islamabad which has been declared the 2nd most beautiful capital of the world. Its lush green surroundings in the valley of the Margalla hills make it a place worth visiting. Its pleasant weather, clean air and refreshing aroma is simply matchless. Moreover, nearby Rawalpindi, the twin city of Islamabad, is located on the bay of the river Swan and has its own historical attraction. In the Swan river valley 500,000 years old relics of the Stone Age man have been found, making it the place with the earliest human inhabitation in the region. The center of the Ghandhara civilization, Taxila, is also very easy to reach from Rawalpindi.
We warm-heartedly extend our welcome to you and hope that you will join us in Islamabad for not just a stimulating conference, but also a friendly gathering among friends and simply a good time.
Where will be the conference? I mean hospital or location in Islamabad… With whome to get registration?
